learning first aid
On Tuesday a lady named Kathy came to class to teach us about basic first aid. And how to put an unconscious person into the recovery position and how to put bandages on someone correctly. We also filled out this booklet about the D.R.S.A.B.C the booklet also told us how to save a choking casualty.
We then role played parts in groups of three, one person played the unconscious casualty then we had a photo together and Kathy told us how to make fake blood. I enjoyed my day a lot and loved putting someone into the recovery position.

prime minister story
1. If I was the prime minister of NZ I would filter the water so the aqua life can have the opportunity we have with fresh water with no pollution in New Zealand water's.
2. If I was the prime minister of NZ I would ban all smoking in New Zealand especially in nature reserves.
3. If I was the prime minister of NZ I would treat prisoners equally so they can learn and try to improve on their mistakes.
4. If I was the prime minister of NZ I would give the poor and big family's a better amount of money then the rich. And give the poor and big family's a better price for paying for things like bills.
5. If I was the prime minister of NZ I would make all foods and water bills cheaper just in case if a disaster hits us.
So vote Bailey for prime minister!

during the long weekend.
During my long weekend we walked up hills and tracks for the first week. On Wednesday we picked up dog poo and on Friday we went to have lunch with the owner of the dogs called Richard.
Then we went to the movies on the next week we mainly stayed at home.
On Thursday we went to the crepery the crepery is a restaurant across from Burger King
and next to the information center.
on Sunday we had to watch Joe and Frances get confirmed at mass.

Guinea pig brains
We have just finished our school science fair we had three groups in our class our groups science project was called Guinea pig brains our guinea pig was called Toby our group are Isabella, Layla, Mauritia, Hattie, and Me. on our first attempt Toby ran right through the maze the second time Toby tried climbing over the walls and he pooed every where. on our third try he followed the sent of the broccoli and snatched the apple out of Isabella's hands. My conclusion is that we should have had higher walls so Tobe doesn't jump over the walls.

Matariki kites
Through out the seiner classes we are celebrating Matariki by creating kites out of rapau and toitoi we used toi toi to make the frame and rapau to make the inside. To some people this is hard but to me and my group it is fun we are using the harakeke to tie it together we strip the harakeke into three miller metre wide pieces then use a ruler or a pair of scissors to scrape out the inside until the harakeke is soft and wobbly then you can use it to tie the rapau together you muse weave the rapau then once you have gone through six of them go back and make a crisscross shape once you are done tie the weaved harakeke strip together and then move on to the next one. You should probably start at the basic kite a triangle me and my group have almost finished our kite I think they are going to look awesome.

Me and other children from around the school about three to four from each senior class go to art extension. There we are working with clay modelling we are making people from shoulders up to the top of the head. We are interpreting a picture that we have chosen from a heap of pictures done by a few artists. I am doing the mad scientist we have been doing this for the last two weeks and have got one more session yet to be held. so far we are up to the head next week we will be shaping it.

mihimihi
glory to the father in heaven. Peace on the face of the world. goodwill to all the people.
to those who have now become like the stars. Travel, travel, travel onwards to the next realm.
kia tatou kua huihui mai nei i tenei rangi, tena tatou katoa.
to all of us here gathered today, greetings to everyone.
e te whare e tu nei, tena koe.
to the house standing here, greetings.
tenei te mihi kia koutou nga manuhiri tuarangi. nau mai, piki mai, kake mai.
i greet all of our distinguished guests. welcome, welcome, welcome. The hope is that our gathering together is a fruitful one.
Tena koutou katoa.
to the steadfast leaders of Tepouahi, this is a warm greeting to you all. My heart is overjoyed because the seed of knowledge has been planted within me, within all of us here, the students of Tepouahi. Greetings to you all.
to you all the leaders of tomorow. stand tall, stand proud in everything that you may do, no matter what.
ka oti taku korero ma te whaktauki;
mauri mahi, mauri ora, mauri noho, mauri mata.
i would like to end my speech with proverb. work brings health (prosperity), wile laziness brings sickness and bad fortune.
